Bloch Behavioral treats adults with disordered eating such as binge eating disorder, bulimia, and/or anorexia using an individualized, one-to-one outpatient treatment modality called enhanced cognitive therapy (CBT-E).

After an initial assessment appointment for individuals who are not significantly underweight, CBT-E typically consists of 20 sessions over the course of 20 weeks. For those who are underweight, CBT-E often consists of 40 sessions over the course of 40 weeks.

CBT-E is the leading evidenced-based treatment for adults with all forms of disordered eating. It was developed by Professor Christopher Fairburn and can be read about in depth here
